Terms and Conditions for Gentlemen’s Trading Co

Welcome to Gentlemen’s Trading Co’s online shop (the “Website”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website located at https://gents-tc.co.za and the purchase of any products from our online store.
By accessing or using our Website, or by placing an order for any of our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Website or place any orders.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Gerrie Le Grange t/a Gentlemen’s Trading Co, a Sole Proprietor in South Africa, and physical address Tzaneen, 0850, Limpopo Province, South Africa.
1. Use of the Website
You may use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Website in any way that violates any applicable South African law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or any related systems.
- Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Website at any time, without notice, for any reason.
2. Products and Orders
All products displayed on the Website are subject to availability. We make every effort to display accurate descriptions, images, and specifications of our watches (including brands, materials, movements, water resistance, etc.), but we do not guarantee that all information is error-free.
By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected products. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order for any reason, including but not limited to pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud.
A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable, unless otherwise stated. Prices exclude delivery/shipping costs, which will be added at checkout.
We accept payments via PayFast and Yoco. All payments are processed securely.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time of order placement.
4. Shipping and Delivery
We ship to addresses within South Africa only. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Risk of loss and title for the products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs (for international orders), force majeure events, or carrier issues.
5. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
Cooling-off Period (Consumer Protection Act, South Africa): As a consumer in South Africa, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason, provided the goods are unused, in their original packaging, and in a resalable condition. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods.

Faulty or Defective Goods: If a product is faulty or does not conform to the description, you may return it within a reasonable period for repair, replacement, or refund (in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act).
Non-Returnable Items: Personalized or custom-made watches may be non-returnable.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
6. Warranties and Liability
All watches come with the manufacturer’s warranty as specified on the product page. We provide no additional warranties beyond those required by South African law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website or purchase of products.
Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product giving rise to the claim.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and product designs, is the property of Gentlemen’s Trading Co (GTC) or our licensors and is protected by South African and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Website shall be resolved through negotiation, failing which, through mediation, and if necessary, in the courts of Johannesburg, Gauteng.
